Who Can Refer: Community Mental Health Teams, GP's, Social Service departments, acute wards, voluntary groups and self-referral.

Referral Procedure: Completion of referral form and one to one assessment.

Induction: One to One meetings plus Health and Safety procedures.

Sector/Area: Cambridge City and South Cambridgeshire.

Funding: Cambridgeshire Social Services, Cambridge City Council, Cambridgeshire Primary Care Trust.

User Involvement: A range of opportunities to become involved in daily activities within the service. Client feedback and suggestions welcomed.

Aims & Objectives: To provide guidance and support for people with mental health problems, creating a climate in which they are enabled to move on into employment, voluntary work or training.


Types of Work/Activity/Volunteering/Education/Training available:Employment Support - providing advice, guidance and support to enter employment, voluntary work or training and individual action planning. Training - providing a range of training courses including Assertiveness, IT and Preparation for Employment.
