Who Can Refer: Individuals can refer themselves. Agencies, friends and carers can also refer or call for information.

Referral Procedure: Informal visits can be accompanied by keyworker.

Induction: Decided by users and staff. Usually offered a weekly appointment until user has found volunteering in the community. Users can access group activities, i.e., drop-in lunch. Follow-up support/training given as required.

Sector/Area: Cambridge City and South Cambs.

Funding: Various.

User Involvement: Service Users help in office, produce a 'Volunteers report'.

Aims & Objectives: To promote community involvement for all through volunteering. To reduce barriers to mainstream community activity by providing individual and group support, to build skills and confidence, provide information and promote individual responsibility and choice.

Types of Work/Activity/Volunteering/Education/Training available: Volunteering (part-time unpaid).
